Here's what we were working with - a backyard garden area that had completely gotten away from the homeowner. Thick brush, young saplings, and overgrown weeds had taken over what used to be usable yard space. Not the kind of thing you can knock out with a lawn mower on a Saturday afternoon.

We brought in the forestry mulcher and got to work on the brush and saplings first. That's where forestry mulching really earns its keep on jobs like this - it chews through dense overgrowth fast and leaves the material right there on the ground, broken down fine enough that it isn't a problem. No hauling, no burning, no mess left behind.

Once the mulching was done, we used the hydrabucket to grade and smooth the ground. That step matters a lot. You can mulch all day, but if the surface is left uneven and rough, the homeowner still can't do much with it. Grading it out gave them a clean, workable base - ready for grass seed whenever they're ready to go that route.

A lot of people don't realize that a neglected garden bed or old overgrown patch in the yard can be cleared and prepped for grass in a single visit. That's exactly what land management services like ours are built for. We handle the heavy work so you're not left staring at a problem that keeps growing every week.

The result here speaks for itself. What was a dense wall of brush and volunteer trees is now open, level ground with real potential. This homeowner in Clay County, IL went from unusable space to a blank canvas - and that kind of change makes the whole property feel different.
